Bought a hummingbird model 541 February 2016. The depth reading varies several times a day, exp when in six to eight ft, reading may be 18 20 16, etc then will come back to correct depth afyer five minutes or so. Also there is a thin white lin running from top to bottom mid screen. While it is under warranty, i do not have sales receipt. I registered unit on hummingbird web site when bought. I have attempted to contact hummingbird several times a week recently without success. Please advise.
I have a 788C I bought a navionics gold SD card for it and it wont find it. Followed the instructions, but the unit reboots itself in a few seconds after I turn it on. With the chip in it.
I purchased a Helix seven DI GPS for my husband a few days ago (serial 1). Your site does not seem to list a manual for this very expensive device. I tried to attach a screen shot of your Helix seven manual page and attaching a photo won't work on my iPad. So frustrating. Also- the link on your contact page that provides an email address (rather than filling out a form) doesn't work EITHER (Chrome shuts down). So very frustrating. We were hoping to go out in our boat today in an unfamiliar, large lake and cannot. Please point me at the manual online. I can download it to my iPad and use it with iBooks.
I just bought a new piranha max 197c. After hooking it up, it will not come on. Measured 12. 5volts on power cable. Unit will not come on.
I think it must be garbage prouduct for the phone to always having people waiting for them to answer.
Always busy have a helix five I just purchased have transducer question been trying all day been on hold 35 min no one there not a good way to start.
I have the Helix five with DI. I have noticed that my contour lines and depth do not math. For instance, last night on Lake Carlos in Douglas country the Gps map said 30 ft and I was in nine ft with weeds according to my depth. I also noticed this same issue on Leech Lake. It seems to be more of an issue with tighter contours. I did have my Helix five in a electronic compartment that was lower in the boat. Do I need to get it out of that compartment to get a better Gps signal? Should I be having this issue? With it being so off, it kind of eliminates the point of having the contour map. Thanks.
My 858c shows GPS "unconnected". Ordered new Antena but same "unconnected". I know both were connected. What's my options?
I have two fish finder 197-c and one fish finder chart plotter 899-c all of them have lost the water temp, not lasting more than two years, I bought new transducers for them, but that doesn't seem to be the problem, threw a way the two 197-c, but for the chart plotter the company wants 425. 00 and it could even be more, probably not worth it.

After two straight days of rushing home from work to make call to ask question on my 999 KVD and 1hr six min sitting in my boat seat waiting for someone to help and still have not spoken to a representative. Very very disappointing.
I am trying to get an answer to why my transducer is all of a sudden leaking black gunk out the end. Does this mean its no good and will need replacing, is the gunk dangerous, if it needs replacing (XT-6-20) what is the equivalent model.

Not actually a complaint. Just want to notify Humminbird that I cannot go to their website. My DNS protection has blocked it stating there is Malware present or that the site is infected.
